Born and raised in Virginia Beach, VA, Amber was a natural born beach girl, growing up with the sunshine, sand, and waves.

Amber earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Services Counseling from Old Dominion University in 2002, which she used to dedicate over a decade of her professional life to the critical fields of Child and Adult Protective Services. When her daughter was younger, she left social work and pursued business to business sales as well as built multiple profitable online businesses.

Amber had longed to learn real estate, recognizing the opportunity to leverage her background in social work and counseling to guide clients to find their dream properties. The idea of combining these skills with her sales background and negotiation repertoire was always an exciting dream.

An exciting opportunity arose to relocate her family to the enchanting Gulf Coast of Florida, where they had vacationed on Anna Maria Island for the past five years. They quickly decided to move and pursue their Florida Island dreams!

In this new phase of life, Amber’s partner of 19 years also works at Salty Mermaid Real Estate and Rentals as the head of the maintenance division for the rental properties, while their daughter prepares to enter high school next year.
